Lynn Lowry to attend in support of THE SUPER

Grindhouse icon, Lynn Lowry will be attending Texas Frightmare Weekend to represent THE SUPER. Lynn will be at the table for THE SUPER signing all weekend. Additionally, catch Lynn at the screening and Q&As for the movie. Lynn Lowry has appeared in George Romero’s The Crazies, David Cronenberg’s Shivers, Jonathan Demme’s Fighting Mad, Paul Shrader’s Cat People and grindhouse clas-sick I Drink Your Blood.

THE SUPER screens Friday, May 4th at Texas Frightmare Weekend.

George Rossi, who immigrated to the US and served in the Vietnam war, is now a Superintendent of a Queens apartment building. He finds himself quickly slipping into a depraved world which is fueled by the tenants of the building.

Verne Troyer Announced!

We’ve added Verne Troyer to our already massive guest list for TFW 2012! Verne is perhaps best known for his role as “Mini-Me,” Dr. Evil’s smaller and more concentrated pure evil protégé, in the hit comedies Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Austin Powers in Goldmember.

Horror fans might know Verne as Pinocchio in Pinocchio’s Revenge or from Wishmaster. He’s also appeared in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas with Johnny Depp, Men in Black, Mighty Joe Young, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s StoneThe Love Guru and  The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

FOUR New Guests Join TFW 2012!


Lisa Marie has joined the insane 2012 guest list! Lisa starred in Tim Burton’s Ed Wood as the legendary Vampira alongside Johnny Deep. She followed Ed Wood with three other Burton films, Mars Attacks!, Planet of the Apes and Sleepy Hollow. She’ll also be seen in Rob Zombie’s upcoming film Lords of Salem.
Gaylen Ross will forever be remembered as Francine in George A. Romero’s classic 1978 zombie opus Dawn of the Dead. However, fans will also remember her for another Romero flick called Creepshow in which she didn’t battle zombies but…. became one! She was certainly able to hold her breath for a long, looong time! Slasher fans should also take note that she played the lead in Madman, the summer camp serial killer tale of Madman Marz.
Joining TFW 2012 guest Nathan Baesel is Britain Spellings. Britain starred in the 2006 horror mockumentary Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. He will also reprise his role for the upcoming Before the Mask!
Finally, please join is in welcoming Jonathan Lewis, director of notorious cult fav Black Devil Doll. Jonathan is appearing courtesy of TFW 2012 vendor Rotten Cotton.

Britain Spellings Added

Joining Nathan Baesel at TFW 2012 is Britain Spellings. Britain played the character of Todd in Behind the Mask and is set to reprise the role in the upcoming Before the Mask.
