We’re excited to announce Buck Taylor and Kelly Lintz for their first ever convention appearances at Texas Frightmare Weekend!

Born the son of a famous Hollywood actor, Buck Taylor grew up on movie sets, watching his father, celebrated actor Dub Taylor, appear with such movie greats as John Wayne, Tex Ritter and Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. Since his first feature film role in 1963, Buck has worked nonstop for more than forty years with roles in such films as Tombstone, The Alamo and Grand Champion. Buck is best remembered for his eight-year run as Newly on Gunsmoke.

Horror fans will best remember his character of Ambrose Cornell in Stephen King’s The Mist.

Kelly Lintz has been a professional actor for more than 20 years appearing in over 30 national and regional commercials. In 2005-06, she appeared in 10 episodes of the NBC prime time show Surface. In 2007-08, Ms. Lintz appeared as “Alice” in the CW nationally syndicated hit TV show One Tree Hill. In 2007 she appeared in Stephen King’s The Mist, having a chance to work opposite Thomas Jane playing his ill-fated wife who is discovered trapped in a spider’s web near the end of the film. Kelly most recently was cast in the Lionsgate film The Hunger Games due out March 23, 2012.

Jennifer Runyon appeared in the very first scene of Ghosbusters as Venkman’s ESP test subject. For 1980′s To All a Goodnight, directed by the late David Hess (Last House on the Left), she was stalked by a maniacal killer in a Santa Claus costume. She also appeared in uncle-in-law Roger Corman’s CARNOSAUR. Some may also know Runyon from her 18 episode stint on Charles in Charge.

We’re excited to announce that Meg Foster will join Texas Frightmare Weekend 2012! Ms. Foster’s icy gaze made a her a latter-day femme fatale worthy of besting Rowdy Roddy Piper and He-Man.

Best remembered for her piercing, pale eyes, Joe Bob Briggs once wrote that Foster was “the Cruella De Ville of drive-in movies”. Her memorable films include They Live with Roddy Piper, Blind Fury and The Osterman Weekend with Rutger Hauer, The Emerald Forest, Leviathan and Masters of the Universe with Dolph Lundgren. Her most recent project is Rob Zombie’s Lords of Salem.

After getting his start as a PA on Oliver Stone’s “JFK” in 1990, Joey quickly moved up the ranks and became one of the most sought after 1st ADs in Texas, running the sets of 15 feature films and 8 seasons of episodic television. In addition, Stewart has also served as 2nd Unit Director on 3 feature films, and most recently on 2 episodes of the Jerry Bruckhiemer/NBC TV show “Chase”. “The Final” was picked up by After Dark Films and Lionsgate for wide release in 2010 and was featured at TFW 2010.

Tom Towles is joining previously announced guest Michael Rooker for a rare HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER reunion! Tom played the despicable, loathsome Otis in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. In 1990, Towles played Harry Cooper, the guy everyone else trapped in the farmhouse would most like to sacrifice to the zombies in Tom Savini’s remake of Night of the Living Dead.

Best known as one of Hollywood’s resident scream queens, actress Tiffany Shepis took her big-screen feature bow in the 2000 comedy Everything for a Reason, then appeared in Ted Bundy, The Hazing, Nightmare Man, Bryan Loves You, Abomniable. Most recently she can be seen in Cyrus, Night of the Demons, The Violent Kind and currently has eight films in various phases of production including Stingy Jack and Manson Rising as Manson disciple Susan Atkins.

P.J. Soles was among the hundreds of actors auditioning for Brian De Palma and George Lucas in their joint casting session for Carrie and Star Wars. John Carpenter cast her for his film Halloween after seeing Carrie. He wrote the part of Lynda especially for her because of the way she said the word “totally.”

P.J. starred in Rock ‘n’ Roll High School  also starring TFW 2012 guest Clint Howard and the Ramones. Next she filmed Private Benjamin and then Stripes with Bill Murray.
