Frequently Asked Questions

Children 12 and under are admitted free. They will be ticketed at the door.

You will pick up your tickets at the hotel the day of the show. Registration booths will be set up in the hotel foyer for you to pick up your passes before and during the event.

Tickets are available online. You may pick up pre-ordered passes from 5-9 p.m. Thursday and between 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Friday, and 10am Saturday and Sunday. Tickets may also be picked up anytime during convention hours. Tickets are limited and may not be available for purchase at the door. Ticket sales at the door will not begin until 6 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Guests and vendors will be open 6-11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. VIP pass holders will gain access one hour early. Several parties, screenings and other activities will run throughout the day and after convention hours until around 2am.

Yes! Parking is free for ALL attendees. Please go to the LOCATION page and click the PARKING tab for details.

All props are subject to approval by a DFW Airport police officer. Please have your props checked in at our HELP DESK in the convention foyer. These may be tagged and secured for your safety and the safety of others.

No actual weapons or firearms are permitted at the convention. If you purchase any type of weapon at the event from a vendor it must be left with the vendor until you leave the convention. Upon leaving a vendor representative must escort you out of the hotel.

Yes! Just make sure that the bring the full ticket including the QR code to the event. Without it they will not be able to claim the pass.

Tickets purchased for Texas Frightmare Weekend, like tickets for any other event, are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for any reason.

Texas Frightmare Weekend has confirmed each guest personally. Situations out of control of the celebrity or Texas Frightmare Weekend may arise that prevent a guest from appearing at the show. We will announce cancellations as soon as we are made aware of them. Ticket prices will not be refunded. Please come to the convention to enjoy ALL of the guests and events.

Yes, cameras are allowed. The majority of our guests will be happy to take a photo with you! However, taking a photo with a celebrity is completely up to the individual celebrity. Please make sure to ask them first. Some guests will allow you to photograph them for free. Others may ask a fee.

Additionally, if demand for a particular guest is high the guest make ask that photos not be taken with them in order to meet as many fans as possible.

ATTENTION: Video cameras may be used for personal use only. Please be courteous and ask before filming people. ALL video footage shot at the Texas Frightmare Weekend is for personal use ONLY. Under NO circumstances may anyone film video footage of the convention, convention events or convention celebrities for commercial use.

In general, yes. However, Texas Frightmare Weekend reserves the right to exclude guests from the free autograph option at their discretion. VIP autograph tickets are valued at up to $40. Attendee will be responsible to pay the difference in price if any.

We don’t mail tickets. Just bring the order confirmation with the QR code that we emailed you to the event to pick up your passes. This can be printed or shown to us on your phone. Once your payment is received the order status will be shown as “Processing”. The status will change to “Completed” when you pick up yous passes at the event.

If you have lost the order confirmation email that was sent to you or never received it then just do the following:

Click “Your Orders” and a list of your previous orders will pop up. Click on “View Order”. Your QR code will be there. Bring that with you to the show to claim your passes. You can show us this on your phone or as a printed copy.

Texas Frightmare Weekend does not decide what these prices will be. Each guest and/or their representative determines this price. We attempt to get as much of this info from the guest before the event. There will be instances in which we are unable to get this info before the event. However, all info that we have will be posted immediately on our GUESTS page. Any info available will be accessible by clicking the individual guest’s images on the GUESTS page. If the information is not there then we currently do not have it.

Most do charge for autographs, many supply a photo or other memorabilia that they’ll autograph for you. The amount charged for autographs varies by celebrity and most will sign the merchandise that you bring for them to sign. Autograph prices are determined by the celebrity and/or their management.

You should be able to meet every guest at our event. Demand for some celebrities may be particularly high and, while this is an extremely rare occurrence, in this instance it may be impossible for an individual celebrity to meet every attendee that wants to meet them. Please come to the convention to enjoy the entire convention and celebrity lineup, not just ONE celebrity. Guest appearance are fully confirmed prior to the event. However, cancellations can occure that are our of the control of the event. Refunds will not be granted for guest cancellations.

All ages are permitted. Children 12 and under will be admitted FREE with an adult ticket purchase. ATTENTION: As this is a horror movie convention, there may be horror movie content on the convention floor, in the movie screenings, in Q&A’s and elsewhere during the event. While not a regular occurrence, violence, gore, strong language, drug references, nudity, etc. may be present in screenings, etc. Parental guidance is advised.
